Who is responsible for your data
The controller is LegalBR Assessoria e Consultoria Empresarial Ltda., a company registered in Brazil under CNPJ 46.187.091/0001-17, with offices in São Paulo. When we process personal data on behalf of a client (for example, data of partners and directors in a corporate filing), we act as a processor and follow that client’s instructions.
What data we collect and why
- Contact forms, email and WhatsApp: name, company, email, phone, country and the content of your message. We use them to answer your request and to prepare a proposal. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (LGPD art. 7, V; GDPR art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).
- Client engagements: identification and corporate data of partners, directors, attorneys-in-fact and representatives, as required to form, amend or maintain companies and to comply with Brazilian registry, tax and anti-money-laundering rules. Legal bases: performance of contract and legal or regulatory obligation.
- Website usage: pages visited, approximate location, device and browser data, collected through Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. You can refuse them at any time in the cookie banner. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent first, and without it analytics cookies are not set.
- Security: technical data processed by our hosting and content delivery providers and by spam protection on forms, to keep the website available and secure (legitimate interest).
We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for automated decisions with legal effects.

Who we share data with
We share personal data only as needed with service providers that support our operations (hosting, email, content delivery, analytics, communication tools), with Brazilian public bodies when a filing requires it (such as Commercial Registries, the Federal Revenue Service and the Central Bank), and with professionals involved in your engagement, such as sworn translators and notaries.
International transfers
Because we serve clients abroad and use international service providers, personal data may be transferred between Brazil and other countries. These transfers follow LGPD articles 33 to 36 and ANPD Resolution 19/2024, using mechanisms such as standard contractual clauses where applicable.
How long we keep data
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected, for legal and regulatory obligations and for the exercise of rights, as set out in our Política de Retenção e Descarte. Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted when no longer needed.
Your rights
You may ask us to confirm whether we process your data, to access, correct, anonymize, port or delete it, to obtain information about sharing, and to withdraw consent. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the rights granted by the GDPR, including the right to object and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Brazil, the supervisory authority is the ANPD.
To exercise your rights, write to our Data Protection Officer (Encarregado), Luiz Eduardo da Silva, at [email protected] with your name, a contact and enough detail to locate the data. We may ask for proof of identity to prevent fraud.
