How many CNPJs can I check?
Up to 100 at a time and up to five checks a day. For larger portfolios, the LegalBR team runs the full review, including Junta Comercial records and clearance certificates.
How do I paste the list from a spreadsheet?
Select the CNPJ column in Excel or Google Sheets, copy it and paste it into the field. The check recognises CNPJs with or without punctuation, ignores other text and restores leading zeros that Excel often drops.
What counts as irregular and what needs attention?
Irregular means the CNPJ is inapto, suspended, closed, null or under a special status. Needs attention covers shareholders domiciled abroad, foreign shareholders with no representative recorded and Simples Nacional companies with a corporate partner.
Does the check cover the Junta Comercial and certificates?
No. It uses public CNPJ data. Junta Comercial records, clearance certificates, corporate books and beneficial ownership are covered in the full review by our team.
Public Federal Revenue data (CNPJ open data), obtained through a public lookup service, which may not reflect changes from recent weeks. Alerts are for information only, reviewed by LegalBR on 31 October 2026, and do not replace a due diligence. We do not store the list you check; results are held in a technical cache for up to 6 hours.
